About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Big Feet. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our staff, including arranging seminars, conferences, and other events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events
  • Assist with staff consultation and grievance procedures
  • Motivate staff and promote a positive work environment
  • Plan and control budget and expenditures
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures
  • Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences
  • Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies
  • Manage contracts and maintain accurate records
  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages
  • Compile data, statistics, and other information
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Oversee payroll administration and maintain accurate records
  • Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records

Requirements:

  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in an administrative role
  • Permanent position with 32 hours per week
  • Fluency in English
