Job Title: Research Analyst

At the Centre for Youth Bipolar Disorder, we are seeking a highly skilled Research Analyst to join our clinical research team. As a Research Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of multiple studies, ensuring the consistency and quality of all study procedures, and contributing to the collection, delivery, and verification of data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct diagnostic interviews with youth with bipolar disorder and their families using standardized semi-structured interviews and questionnaires.
  • Take physical measurements, including height, weight, abdominal circumference, and blood pressure.
  • Conduct laboratory procedures, such as preparing blood samples for analysis.
  • Assist with the proper storage of blood and saliva samples.
  • Liaise with investigators, study staff, and clinical staff to ensure the consistency and quality of all study procedures.
  • Monitor project requirements to ensure data and procedure flow are in accordance with study protocols.
  • Prepare research ethics board applications and maintain study compliance with all terms.
  • Participate in the collection, delivery, and verification of data via REDCap.
  • Maintain records of participant contact, recruitment, tracking, interviews, and participant payments.
  • Attend and participate in project-related meetings, including regular staff meetings and research team meetings.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in psychology, health sciences, or a related field.
  • At least one year of relevant research experience.
  • Previous experience using standardized semi-structured interviews and questionnaires.
  • Previous experience with grant applications and submissions.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
