As a Research Analyst, you will contribute to the overall success of our Research team by executing specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives in support of our research priorities and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with ESG Research Analysts and Associates to perform ESG analysis and ad-hoc projects, including climate and diversity, equity & inclusion research, data organization, and research on emerging ESG topics.
  • Understand and apply JFL's risk appetite and risk culture in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Actively pursue effective and efficient operations of your respective areas in accordance with the firm's Values, Code of Conduct, and Global Sales Principles.
  • Champion a high-performance environment and contribute to an inclusive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Enrolled in post-secondary education or in post-graduate education with a focus in sustainability, sustainable development, business administration, finance, economics, or another related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and organized with attention to detail.
