Reporting to the Director, Business Development and Event Sales, this role requires a professional, self-motivated, and research-savvy individual to maximize stadium revenues through event sales, premium hospitality, and asset management.
The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of sales experience at a venue or convention building, with a strong understanding of logistics, operations, and provincial stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Spearheading discussions and collaboration with different departments and suppliers to collect and present logistical details in response to complex RFPs.
- Developing and implementing strategies to attract and retain high-value customers.
- Identifying and developing potential business through proactive prospecting and sales calls.
- Negotiating contracts and space rental rates in a competitive marketplace.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with industry partners to generate new business and premium clientele.
The successful candidate will possess a professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work flexible hours supporting events.
