About the Role:

Solaris business development C is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Officer - Industrial and Commercial Investment to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing policies, administering programs to promote industrial and commercial business investment in rural and urban areas, and performing administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop policies and programs to promote industrial and commercial business investment
  • Administer programs to support business growth and development
  • Perform administrative tasks to support the team
  • Plan development projects to drive business growth
  • Recruit and hire staff to support business operations
  • Provide advice on procedures and requirements for government approval of development proposals
  • Develop social and economic profiles of an area to encourage industrial and commercial investment
  • Conduct comparative research on marketing strategies for industrial and commercial products
  • Prepare reports, research papers, educational texts, or articles to support business development
  • Provide consulting services to government and other organizations
  • Conduct social or economic surveys on local, regional, or international areas to assess development of potential and future trends
  • Review and evaluate commercial or industrial development proposals
  • Design market research questionnaires to support business development
  • Develop a portfolio of marketing materials to promote business growth
  • Evaluate customer service and store environments to support business operations
  • Design, conduct, and analyze quantitative and qualitative research projects to support business development
  • Develop feasibility studies to support business growth
  • Conduct online marketing, E-commerce, and Website promotions to support business operations
  • Maintain a database of potential franchisees, real estate locations, and online buy/sell Internet sites to support business development
  • Prepare funding applications to support business growth
  • Provide consultation on planning and starting new businesses
  • Develop marketing strategies to support business growth
  • Ensure appropriate business/commercial licenses are in place to support business operations
  • Deliver presentations at conferences, workshops, or symposia to support business development
  • Develop and implement business plans to support business growth
