Systems Development Training Analyst

Job Summary

The Government of Nunavut is seeking a highly skilled Systems Development Training Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Financial Systems Development department, you will be responsible for identifying and analyzing training needs, developing and implementing training programs, and ensuring that users from various departments and agencies receive the necessary training to perform their duties effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver training programs for users of the Government of Nunavut's human resources and financial information systems
  • Support the introduction of new and modified systems, including user training and support
  • Prepare user resources, including documentation and guides
  • Communicate with users to ensure their needs are met
  • Provide assessment, evaluation, and follow-up services to ensure training effectiveness

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in an IT or related field from a recognized institution
  • Two (2) years of adult training experience
  • Fluency in English and French, with knowledge of Inuktut an asset
  • Experience working in a northern cross-cultural environment an asset
