Job Title: Systems Development Training Analyst

The Government of Nunavut is seeking a highly skilled Systems Development Training Analyst to join their team. As a key member of the Department of Finance, this role will be responsible for identifying and analyzing training needs, developing training programs, and ensuring that users from various departments and agencies receive the necessary training to perform their duties effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver training programs for end-users of the Government of Nunavut's human resources and financial information systems.
  • Analyze training needs and develop training materials to support the implementation of new and modified systems.
  • Provide user support and communicate with users to ensure a smooth transition to new systems.
  • Prepare user resources and materials to facilitate learning and understanding.
  • Evaluate and assess training programs to ensure their effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in an IT or related field from a recognized institution.
  • Two (2) years of adult training experience.
  • Fluency in one of the official languages of Nunavut (Inuktut, English, or French).
  • Knowledge of Inuit communities, culture, and land, as well as experience working in a northern cross-cultural environment, is considered an asset.
