Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team at the Inuksuk Infant Development Centre. As a Child Development Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that promote the overall development of children
  • Supervise and train staff, trainees, or volunteers to ensure high-quality care and education
  • Lead activities that foster creativity, social skills, and emotional intelligence in children
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records and reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors
  • Collaborate with colleagues and community service providers to ensure a safe and supportive environment for children
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years
  • 5 years or more of experience in early childhood education
  • First Aid Certificate and Criminal Record Check
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
