We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Graduate Nurse to join our team at Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux de la Côte-Nord.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary health team, and contributing to the development of our patients' care plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between care settings.
- Deliver health education programs to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and empowerment.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Monitor patients' conditions, identifying and reporting any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Supervise and mentor licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities.
- 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
