Job Summary:

The Graduate Nurse will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients in a hospital or home for the aged setting. This includes assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients to identify their needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide nursing care, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery
  • Document patient information and progress in a timely and accurate manner
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a hospital or home for the aged setting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
