Job Title: Graduate Nurse

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Graduate Nurse to join our team at Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux de la Côte-Nord.

Job Summary:

The Graduate Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions and develop individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Deliver health education programs to patients and their families.
  • Dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
  • Operate or monitor medical apparatus or equipment.
  • Provide nursing care to patients, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff.
Requirements:
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
