Job DescriptionRole Overview

The Senior Retail Business Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail business, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise staff, including apprentices, stages hands, and design teams, to ensure they are performing their duties to the highest standard.
  • Resolve product and service-related problems in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and appraisals to identify areas for improvement and provide feedback to employees.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all customers, responding to their queries and concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure that tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Requisition materials and supplies as needed to ensure that the store has everything required to operate effectively.
  • Perform similar duties to those supervised, staying up-to-date with company policies and procedures.
Work Environment

The Senior Retail Business Supervisor will work in a fast-paced retail environment, interacting with customers and colleagues on a regular basis. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing situations and priorities.

Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the retail industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Able to work in a dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
