About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Wood Frame Carpenter to join our team at Elite Sofa Designs. As a Wood Frame Carpenter, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure and cut wood and other materials to precise specifications
  • Assemble and join materials to create wood frames for furniture and other products
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Supervise other workers and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects and ensure that they are within budget
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings
Work Environment

As a Wood Frame Carpenter, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and attention to detail. You will be required to work at heights, lift heavy materials, and work in a variety of weather conditions.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work at heights and lift heavy materials
  • Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
