Job Title: Wood Frame Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Wood Frame Carpenter to join our team at Elite Sofa Designs. As a Wood Frame Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing and installing wood frames for our sofas and other furniture pieces.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and carpentry, with experience in measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials. You will work independently and as part of a team to ensure timely completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Fabricate and install wood frames for sofas and other furniture pieces.
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Supervise other workers and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and attention to detail. You will be required to work at heights, lift heavy loads, and work in a variety of weather conditions.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in woodworking and carpentry.
  • Ability to work at heights, lift heavy loads, and work in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to estimate costs and materials for projects.
