Job Title: Wood Frame Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Wood Frame Carpenter to join our team at Elite Sofa Designs. As a Wood Frame Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing and installing wood frames for our furniture products.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and carpentry, with experience in measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining wood and other materials. You will work independently and as part of a team to ensure timely completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join wood and other materials to construct wood frames.
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites.
  • Supervise other workers.
  • Estimate costs and materials.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings.
Work Environment:

The work environment will be noisy, and you will be required to work at heights and in confined spaces. You will also be required to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Ability to handle heavy loads.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education in carpentry or a related field.
  • Experience working with wood and other materials.
  • Experience in construction and renovation.
