Job Title: Wood Frame Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Wood Frame Carpenter to join our team at NuAge Foam Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials. They will also schedule and coordinate work on sites, maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various establishments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.
  • Repair furniture frames and refinish wood surfaces.
  • Study drawings and specifications to determine the layout of the installation and materials required.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.
  • Ability to work in a noisy environment.
  • Commercial work setting.
  • Physically demanding work conditions.
  • Tight deadlines.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a commercial setting with a focus on wood frame construction. They will be required to work in a noisy environment and meet tight deadlines.
