Construction Estimator

Gnosis Development Inc. is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our estimating department, you will play a crucial role in preparing accurate estimates of labour and material costs for our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
- Develop and maintain cost monitoring and reporting systems
- Collaborate with project managers and estimators to ensure accurate estimates and timely project delivery
- College diploma or equivalent in a related field (e.g. construction management, civil engineering)
- 3-5 years of experience in estimating or a related field
- Membership in the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (CQS)
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
