Construction Estimator

Gnosis Development Inc. is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our estimating team, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs for construction projects
- Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
- Prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads
- Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems
- Monitor and adjust contract expenditures
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
- Membership in the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Team player with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Permanent position
- 30 to 40 hours per week
- English language of work
