Construction Estimator

Gnosis Development Inc. is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our estimating department, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates of labour and material costs for our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs for construction projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
- Prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads
- Set up and monitor cost monitoring and reporting systems
- Monitor and adjust contract expenditures
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years
- 3-5 years of experience in estimating or a related field
- Membership in the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Team player with strong problem-solving skills
- Estimating and quantity surveying
- Commercial and/or industrial construction
