Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Insomnia Restaurant & Lounge. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are washed and sanitized to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment in a commercial dishwasher
  • Load and unload the dishwasher, ensuring that all items are properly cleaned and stored
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, including countertops, sinks, and floors
  • Restock supplies and equipment as needed
  • Assist with food preparation and service as needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for extended periods
