Job Title: Dishwasher

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Insomnia Restaurant & Lounge. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are washed and sanitized to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment in a commercial dishwasher or by hand
  • Load and unload dishes, utensils, and equipment from the dishwasher
  • Clean and maintain the kitchen, including floors, counters, and equipment
  • Restock supplies and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude under pressure

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment an asset
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
