We are seeking a skilled Sushi Artisan to join our team at JM SUSHI. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory. Your creativity will shine as you create new recipes and instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food.
As a Japanese Cuisine Specialist, you will prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets. Your leadership skills will be put to the test as you supervise cooks and other kitchen staff. You will also be responsible for requisitioning food and kitchen supplies, planning menus, and ensuring food meets quality standards.
In this fast-paced environment, you will be required to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. However, your hard work will be rewarded as you train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food. If you have 3-4 years of experience in a similar role and are fluent in English, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
