We are seeking a skilled Sushi Artisan to join our team at JM SUSHI. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for creating high-quality sushi dishes and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, and inventory
- Develop and implement new sushi recipes
- Train and supervise kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and presentation of food
- Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events and special guests
- Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
- 3-4 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and sushi preparation techniques
Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment where you will be working with a team to create high-quality dishes. You will be required to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
