Job Summary

Viana Inc. is seeking a skilled Administrative Services Director to oversee the management of administrative functions within the company. The ideal candidate will have experience in direct and advising staff engaged in providing records management, security, finance, purchasing, human resources or other administrative services.

About the Role

This is a permanent position with 35 hours per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing and controlling corporate governance and regulatory compliance procedures within established guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and advise staff: Oversee the work of administrative staff and provide guidance on tasks such as record management, security, finance, purchasing, human resources, and other administrative services.
  • Plan and administer budgets: Prepare and manage budgets for client projects, contracts, equipment, and supplies.
  • Prepare reports: Develop and submit reports to management committees evaluating administrative services.
  • Computer and technology knowledge: Possess skills in MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Security and safety: Conduct criminal record checks as required.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.

Requirements
  • Education: College diploma or CEGEP certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Skillset: Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year (estimated based on location and industry standards).
