Culinary Team Member

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Team Member to join our team at Temagami Gas Station and Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the needs of our customers.
- Food Safety and Quality: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure a clean and safe environment for food preparation and service.
- Staff Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure smooth operation of kitchen services.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by preparing and serving food to meet the needs of our customers.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff and restaurant team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable to changing kitchen conditions and customer needs.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a kitchen or food service environment.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 32 to 35 hours per week.
