Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Temagami Gas Station and Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring high-quality standards are met, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet our high culinary standards.
• Train and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, dishwashers, and other support staff.
• Order and manage inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
• Develop and implement new menu items and recipes to enhance our culinary offerings.

• 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
