About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at DMD General Contracting Corp. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our office building and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, clean and disinfect elevators, and wash windows, walls and ceilings.
  • Housekeeping: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, clean changing rooms and showers, and handle and report lost and found items.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure a safe and secure environment for our employees and visitors by following all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Transportation and Travel: Public transportation is available for employees.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and perform physically demanding tasks that require bending, crouching, kneeling, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, be a team player, and possess a strong work ethic.
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with 40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
