Job Title: Food Counter Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Blends & Bites Inc.

Job Summary:

The Food Counter Attendant will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized dining area, and ensuring the efficient operation of our food service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, and serve food and beverages in a timely and friendly manner.
  • Dining Area Maintenance: Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, and floors, and restock supplies as needed.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and heat simple food items, package take-out food, and portion and wrap foods.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Housekeeping: Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces, and remove kitchen garbage and trash.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, and requires standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, team player, ability to multitask, initiative, and positive attitude.
Work Conditions:
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
