Job Title: Food Counter Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Blends & Bites Inc.

Job Summary:

The Food Counter Attendant will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and ensuring the efficient operation of our food service establishment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service by serving customers at counters or buffet tables, taking orders, and handling customer inquiries.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment by cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and equipment, as well as sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and package take-out food.
  • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas, and stock refrigerators and salad bars.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and responsibilities with attention to detail and a positive attitude.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in a food service establishment is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Work Environment:

The Food Counter Attendant will work in a fast-paced food service establishment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

The Food Counter Attendant will work 40 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime.
