We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Advisor Associate to join our team at Servus Credit Union. As a key member of our branch, you will play a vital role in supporting our members with all their banking needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively gather and document member information to facilitate robust conversations with Financial Advisors.
  • Review personal accounts for completeness, accuracy, and compliance, identifying opportunities to enhance members' financial fitness.
  • Open and review new accounts, ensuring timely follow-up with members according to member service guidelines.
  • Prepare and enter loan application information with precision and attention to detail.
  • Support branch activities to grow new memberships and strengthen relationships with existing members.
  • Differentiate between credit union and competitor products, presenting advice and solutions to improve members' financial situations.
  • Process member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan and utility payments, money orders, credit card advances, and foreign exchange calculations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require at least 1 year of retail banking or sales experience, in addition to a high school diploma.

While not mandatory, post-secondary education in Finance or related studies, as well as IFIC certification, are valuable assets.
