Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Leader

About the Role:
This is a challenging opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced financial professional to lead our Financial Planning and Analysis team. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.
Budgeting, Forecasting, and Planning
- We are seeking a seasoned leader to oversee our annual budgeting process, collaborating with various divisions, business units, and corporate departments.
- The successful candidate will develop and refine driver-based financial models to support strategic planning, scenario analysis, and decision-making.
- They will be responsible for leading our monthly forecasting process and effectively communicating key insights to senior leadership.
- Leveraging organizational reporting tools, they will provide weekly performance updates on metrics that drive business outcomes.
- They will manage the creation and distribution of managerial reporting packages, enabling the leadership team to monitor and drive performance improvement initiatives.
- Establishing KPIs and dashboards, they will monitor company performance and highlight critical insights.
- The selected candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams (sales, operations, marketing) to provide financial support, assess business performance, and advise on strategic initiatives.
- They will provide in-depth analysis and recommendations on labor management, discount management, capital expenditure, and sub-rental management.
- Supporting the Executive Team with ad hoc financial analysis, they will drive improvements in financial planning processes and systems.
- Ensuring tools are scalable and support growth, they will optimize financial planning processes and systems.
Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits package.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
- 10+ years of financial analysis or related experience, preferably in an FP&A environment.
- 4+ years of experience managing an FP&A or related team.
- Strong experience in consulting with executive leaders to influence business decisions using data-driven insights.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, Oracle/SAP, SQL, and data visualization tools.
- Working knowledge of budgeting software and business intelligence tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Work Environment:
The role requires regular office hours, with occasional evening and weekend work. Travel may be required to meet with clients and stakeholders. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth.
