About the Opportunity

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical skills, with experience in preparing financial statements, management reports, balance sheets, and inventory reconciliations. They will also be able to perform variance analysis on actuals vs. budget/forecast and provide value-added insights to senior leaders and other key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial statements, management reports, balance sheets, and inventory reconciliations.
  • Perform variance analysis on actuals vs. budget/forecast and provide insights to senior leaders and other key stakeholders.
  • Provide insights on top-line performance, trade spend, SG&A expense, and other key metrics.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, support annual external audits, and other ad-hoc requirements.
  • Ensure timely preparation and filing of Canada tax returns, including income tax, VAT, CFC, BEPS filings, and other taxes.
  • Provide analytical support for Global Portfolio Managers and Commercial Regional Managers.
  • Maintain an effective internal control framework and monitor the financial health of the entity(s).

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis or a related field.
  • Proven track record of analyzing complex financial data and presenting findings to senior leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
