About the Role

SENER, a leading engineering and construction firm, is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Director to expand its presence in the Canadian market. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth, developing strategic plans, and securing new contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to expand SENER's client base and project portfolio in Canada
  • Collaborate with local leaders and the CEO to drive business growth and success in the Canadian market
  • Conduct market research, build client relationships, and lead business development efforts to secure new contracts
  • Utilize data analysis to optimize business development plans and ensure a strong local marketplace reputation
Requirements
  • 8-10 years of experience in business development at the Director or Senior Manager level
  • Deep knowledge of the local business market from a technical and business standpoint
  • Proven track record of establishing and maintaining client relationships in the Canadian rail/civil engineering market
  • Business analytical skills and knowledge of advanced negotiating approaches and tactics
  • Ability to report data and analyze data for relevant trends
  • Strong computer proficiency, especially in PowerPoint and Excel
