About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Home Child Care Provider to join our team at JEIEL AND AIEL MAE BANDOY. As a key member of our childcare team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to children in a home-based setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Household Management: Assume full responsibility for household management in the absence of parents, including light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals for children, ensuring a balanced and healthy diet.
  • Child Supervision: Supervise and care for children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols.
  • Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of daily activities and health information regarding children.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in childcare or a related field.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Own home or work in employer's/client's home.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role, requiring repetitive tasks and work under pressure.
  • Weight Handling: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

  • Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Organized: Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.
Language and Work Hours
