About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and caring Home Childcare Provider to join our team at JEIEL AND AIEL MAE BANDOY. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch childcare services to our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Household Management: Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for the children.
  • Light Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and organized home.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals for the children, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Child Supervision: Supervise and care for children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain accurate records of daily activities and health information regarding the children, and ensure a safe and healthy environment in the home.
  • Travel and Errands: Travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties, as well as shop for food and household supplies.
  • Clothing and Laundry: Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens, ensuring they are clean and pressed.
  • Personal Care: Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, ensuring their personal care needs are met.
  • Emotional Support: Tend to the emotional well-being of the children, providing a nurturing and supportive environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in childcare or a related field.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Own home or work in employer's/client's home.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check and reference required.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, repetitive tasks, and work under pressure.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, flexibility, organized, and ability to work in a team environment.
Language and Work Hours

The work language is English, and the work hours are 40 hours per week.
