About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Child Care Provider to join our team at Christopher Timothy Skinner. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to children in a home-based setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Experience: You will be responsible for ensuring the children in your care receive a high-quality education, including homework assistance and promoting social development.
  • Household Management: You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home, including light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Meal Preparation: You will be responsible for preparing nutritious meals for the children in your care.
  • Health and Safety: You will be responsible for keeping records of daily activities and health information regarding the children, as well as maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home.
  • Transportation: You will be responsible for transporting the children to and from activities, as well as accompanying them on trips.
  • Communication: You will be responsible for maintaining open and effective communication with parents and other caregivers to ensure the children receive the best possible care.
Requirements
  • Education: You will need to have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Experience in child care or a related field is an asset.
  • Skills: You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Certifications: You will need to have certifications in emergency child care first aid and CPR.
