Key Responsibilities
- Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and maintain a smooth operation.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and ensuring that all necessary items are available.
- Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and optimize efficiency.
- Prepare and submit reports to management, providing insights into team performance and areas for improvement.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
Requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service environment.
Working Conditions
- Permanent position.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
