Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the face of Science North, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that every visitor has an unforgettable experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process transactions: Accurately process cash, cheque, credit/debit card payments, and reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales.
- Provide excellent customer service: Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Suggestive selling: Encourage customers to purchase additional products or services.
- Participate in promotional activities: Assist with events, promotions, and marketing initiatives to drive sales and engagement.
Requirements:
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Skills and Qualifications:
- Accuracy: Ensure accuracy in processing transactions and resolving customer inquiries.
- Communication skills: Excellent oral communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
- Reliability: Demonstrate reliability and dependability in adhering to schedules and deadlines.
Compensation:
The estimated salary for this role is $18.50 - $22.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
Work Environment:
This is a temporary, part-time position with variable hours ranging from 5 to 15 hours per week.
