Job Summary

The Operations Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production and maintenance departments. This position involves overseeing team development, motivation, and performance to drive cost efficiency, process improvements, and service excellence across all shifts. The successful candidate will lead a diverse team of associates and be responsible for optimizing operational efficiencies, identifying and coordinating operational improvements, and tracking key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize operational efficiencies to support production, warehouse, and shipping operations.
• Identify and coordinate operational improvements necessary to deliver the site annual operating plan (AOP).
• Track operational output measures, anticipating and correcting trends that compromise financial targets.
• Develop team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals.
• Deliver effective change leadership to drive business changes while minimizing people impact.
• Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to assist teams in solving operational issues.
• Oversee the preventive maintenance program on all equipment.
• Flex production plans on a shift-by-shift basis to prevent service issues and operational inefficiencies.
• Optimize ingredient and packaging material usage to minimize scrap loss.
• Maintain shop equipment in a safe environment and develop, maintain, and administer operational maintenance, safety, and quality programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree: Engineering preferred.
