About the Role

**Job Summary**

VenorTalent is seeking a seasoned leader to drive the overall performance and culture of our organization. As the Executive Director, Business Operations, you will be responsible for leading our food service and retail distribution business to new heights.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance our market position, foster innovation, and ensure sustainable growth.
  • Lead the overall leadership and management of our organization, including sales, operations, finance, logistics, human capital, safety, and business governance.
  • Collaborate with our Senior Leadership Team and Board of Directors to formulate and execute a robust strategic roadmap for the organization.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to our Senior Leadership Team, including delegating authority, defining accountabilities, setting objectives, evaluating performance, and establishing priorities.
  • Evaluate the competitive landscape and industry dynamics through thorough market analysis, identifying key opportunities and challenges to inform strategic initiatives.
  • Lead change management initiatives, driving organizational transformation and ensuring smooth transitions during periods of growth and strategic shifts.
  • Champion the dissemination of best practices across all functions, promoting continuous improvement and efficiency throughout the organization.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of leadership in a family-controlled environment or similar setting.
  • Expertise in leveraging market research, competitive analysis, customer data, and analytics to develop and execute commercial strategies.
  • Previous experience in a leadership role requiring direct oversight and accountability for food distribution operations.
