Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Millwright Industrial Specialist to join our team at Nova Millwrights Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining industrial machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly and Installation: Assemble mechanical equipment and stationary industrial machinery, ensuring all components are properly aligned and secured.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in machinery, and repair or replace defective parts as needed.
  • Fabrication and Setup: Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or setup, and perform routine maintenance work on machinery.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate machining tools to fabricate parts, and operate hoisting and lifting equipment to install machinery and equipment.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of machinery.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification and Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Endorsement.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in industrial machinery assembly, installation, and maintenance.
  • Equipment Familiarity: Familiarity with automated and robotic systems, conveyor systems, electrical and electronic controls, hydraulic systems, industrial and stationary engines, pneumatic systems, power tools, press brakes, and metalworking equipment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to handle heavy loads, work in physically demanding environments, and stand for extended periods.
