Job Title: Industrial Painter

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Painter to join our team at A. F. Theriault & Son Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for applying protective coatings and paints to various surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish and adhering to strict safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and prepare work areas, including surfaces and equipment
  • Apply protective coatings and paints using various methods, including automated spray painting and hand-held spray guns
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to ensure accurate application
  • Check the thickness of coatings using micrometers and other devices
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Experience in industrial painting and coatings application
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a fast-paced environment
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
