Role Overview

The Senior Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of all car wash locations. This role requires collaboration with team members and external contractors to ensure the smooth operation of car wash equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site repairs at various locations, including occasional trips to service those sites.
  • Prioritize repairs on car wash equipment to reduce downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Conduct regular checks on equipment according to established schedules, including weekly, monthly, and annual inspections.
  • Assist in the installation of new car wash equipment at various locations.
  • Work closely with outside contractors when required for repairs or installations.
  • Assist in training other team members on proper repair and maintenance procedures.
  • Effectively communicate with customers, team members, and contractors in a professional manner.
  • Support other team members and contribute to the overall success of Meridia Recruitment Solutions.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in maintenance and repair, preferably with plumbing, electrical, and/or mechanical systems.
  • Experience as an Electrician, Plumber, or Millwright is beneficial. While possessing a diploma or red seal certification is not mandatory, it would be considered an asset.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to travel between locations and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Leadership qualities and ability to motivate and train team members.
