We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Accounting Specialist Lead to join our ease Cloud Accounting Services team.

This team of professionals is dedicated to delivering exceptional results for our clients.

As a trusted advisor, you will use your expertise to deliver a full suite of services, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, financial reporting and payroll administration.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing all accounting operations regarding full cycle cloud accounting engagements
  • Performing and assisting with the set-up of client files, completion of budgets and administrative planning
  • Oversight and monitoring of the quality of cloud accounting engagements and resolution of technology issues
  • Reconciliation of GL accounts including cash, bank reconciliations, prepaid expenses, accounts receivable, accounts payable, accrued liabilities, intercompany and point of sale (POS)/system uploads
  • Identification and resolution of issues and errors, investigation of discrepancies and discussion with engagement partners
  • Maintenance of high proficiency with cloud accounting software and provision of support to clients and team members
  • Management and assessment of the workload of cloud accounting bookkeepers, including workload allocation and process efficiency
  • Leadership and networking within the local professional and business community, promotion of MNP and identification of new business development opportunities
  • Recommendation, implementation and identification of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes
  • Accountability for engagement planning and scheduling, project financials and team member development

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate or diploma in business administration or accounting is considered an asset
  • Certificate in QuickBooks Online Advanced and Xero is preferred
  • 6 years of accounting and bookkeeping related experience
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and processes
  • Experience working with cloud-based software is preferred
  • Proven people management, relationship building and leadership skills
