Job Title: Legal Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to join our team at Linds & Associates Ltd.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough corporate searches and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide administrative support to corporate law clerks, including scanning, faxing, binding, and copy-typing.
  • Create, review, and proofread correspondence, reports, and other documents.
  • Arrange couriers and deliveries to ensure timely and effective management of materials.
  • Develop and maintain files within the corporate services department.
  • Dispose of unnecessary or outdated corporate materials and send inactive materials to storage.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Diploma in legal administration or related experience.
  • 1 year of experience working in a law firm environment.
  • Ability to type 40 words per minute.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to manage conflicting priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to operate with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and provide excellent customer service.
  • Familiarity with basic office equipment and Microsoft Office programs.
