Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Law Clerk to join our team at Linds & Associates Ltd. The successful candidate will provide support to our lawyers in a variety of corporate law matters, including transactional support, business services, and legal research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and file corporate documents, including articles, amalgamations, dissolutions, and changes in corporate structure.
  • Develop and maintain minute book documentation, including annual resolutions, changes to directors and officers, and share provisions.
  • Conduct complex corporate reviews and due diligence in connection with transactions.
  • Assist lawyers with assigned matters, including preparing and filing business name, partnership, and limited partnership registrations.
  • Provide support to lawyers in connection with large closing documents, searches, reports, and other matters relating to transactions.
Requirements
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in a corporate law clerk role.
  • Completion of the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario Certification.
  • Membership in good standing with the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario.
  • Superior computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe.
  • Ability to work outside regular business hours when required.
