Job Description

Job Title: Territory Sales Manager

Job Summary:

CONMED Corporation is seeking an ambitious Territory Sales Manager to represent our expansive product offering of surgical Orthopaedic implants and instrumentation, 4K Video, trauma and MTF biologics. This Territory Sales Manager will have the opportunity to service and promote company products within a defined geographic territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service products by scheduling calls to meet with current and potential customers to fulfill revenue and unit growth objectives assigned by company on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies by determining the relevant factors (e.g., product, competition, and pricing needs) of existing and potential accounts to effectively promote the company's products to appropriate hospital personnel and physicians.
  • Develop relationships with key clinical personnel to make new contacts in other departments within the hospital or private clinics and to identify key purchasing decision makers to facilitate future sales.
  • Effectively manage evaluation, loaner, and sales sample inventory and return products in a timely manner and according to company policy.

Requirements:

  • A strong comfort level in a clinical setting (operating rooms, hospitals).
  • MBA is an asset.
  • Medical device sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to occasionally work evenings and weekends for on call trauma surgery.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record & vehicle insured for business use.
