Food Service Team Lead

Buddies Pizza & Confectionary is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to lead our culinary team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality food and service standards are met.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet customer demand
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring timely and accurate service
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and customer feedback
- Collaborate with the chef to prepare food order summaries and ensure seamless delivery of food trolleys
- Provide physical accessibility accommodations to ensure equal access for all customers
- Participate in community programs that support newcomers, refugees, youth, veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities
