Mill Operator/General Labour

We are seeking a skilled Mill Operator/General Labour to join our team at Argo Lumber, a leading supplier of lumber and building materials in Ontario. As a Mill Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the mill to fulfill customer orders, while adhering to all company policies and safety regulations.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a mill or lumberyard, with a basic knowledge of lumber and building products. They will also possess excellent time management and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with continuous change.
Responsibilities will include:
- Operating machinery and monitoring its performance
- Performing quality checks and ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Cutting and sorting lumber to fulfill customer orders
- Stocking and maintaining raw materials at each station
- Ensuring equipment and tools are well-maintained
