Mill Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mill Operator to join our team at Argo Lumber. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our mill equipment to ensure efficient and safe production of lumber products.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate and maintain mill equipment, including saws and conveyors
- Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet our high standards
- Sort and stock lumber products in a timely and efficient manner
- Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all health and safety protocols
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals and objectives
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working in a mill or lumberyard environment preferred
- Basic knowledge of lumber and building products
- Ability to lift moderately heavy items and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
